Under the Shadow of Rhodes

Under the Shadow of Rhodes

A documentary on the genesis, impact, and purpose of 'Rhodes Must Fall Oxford'. The decolonial movement of 2015 is assessed and investigated with an array of powerful interviews, including from David Olusoga OBE. It covers Rhodes' legacy in the city and beyond, the protests themselves and the British media's response to the movement.

It has since received 18,000 views across social media channels.

A year later Matthew made a follow up documentary, in which he interviewed Peter Hitchens and Professor Simukai Chigudu.
